Beauty and the Beast in Stroud was a “Triumph!” Phoenix Theatre Group's first pantomime at the Sub Rooms in Stroud broke box office records for the Gloucestershire based venue, despite the ongoing problems with the COVID-19 pandemic and the ever-present threat of government forced closures. Whilst many pantomimes across the country were pulling shows due to COVID-19 infections and poor ticket sales, our production completed its full run to critical acclaim from audiences, who loved the broad family appeal of the show.
